Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! When I got back from Spain, I had an idea to make a Valentine’s Day video. I thought to myself, what about a David Lynch meets The Cramps version of Chet Baker’s “My Funny Valentine,” with a video of yours truly delivering Valentine’s Day gifts to the Alley Fig Tree, interspersed with mixed metaphors galore. As my pal Chuck Mead has often pointed out: There’s a very thin line between creepy and sexy.
