I’ve been working hard behind the scenes and accumulating a lot of content before launching my upcoming podcast/YouTube channel. To be honest, it’s way more work than I thought it would be, and that’s why it’s taking me months to get everything going.
The podcast/YouTube channel will be a mixture of live music performances shot in my home studio (I’ve already got some GREAT stuff shot and edited by Spike Marble, and I can’t wait to show it to you), and podcast content with me talking about music history, stories from my musical travels over the years, guitars, recording studios, opinionated opinions about a variety of subjects, and interviews with people that I think are cool and have interesting stories to tell. I’m going to put all of this under the umbrella title “LIVE AT DEKE’S HOUSE OF MUSIC.” Not a bad moniker, eh?
This morning, the coffee mugs were delivered. Having got my merch arriving (I’ll have T-shirts, mugs, stickers and some other fun goodies) it somehow feels more…official. And how about this cool logo, designed by Chris Wilkinson? I need to get my act together and get this project off the ground! Stay tuned! I think if you like my social media posts and my live music performances, you’re going to really enjoy “LIVE AT DEKE’S HOUSE OF MUSIC!”
