The Untamed Youth is a legendary American garage/surf band from Columbia, Missouri. The group formed in 1987 when all the members were in high school, and Deke is the lead singer and guitarist. Other members include Steve “King of Men” Mace, Steve “Sammy” Rager, and Chris Sprague aka “Gringo Starr” aka “Sugarballs” from Los Straitjackets and Nick Lowe.

The LP features unique-to-Deke—can’t get it anywhere else—beer-colored vinyl.
