FREE! Two plexiglass curved baffles for drums or guitar amps, from Mike Campbell’s (Tom Petty’s band) old North Hollywood Studio!
I got these at the garage sale from a guy who said that he obtained them from Mike Campbell’s house in North Hollywood where he had a recording studio (interesting trivia fact: Mike bought the house with the studio from Jack Rogers, Merle Travis’s best friend, and Jack and Merle and Roy Lanham used to record late-night jam sessions there in the 1960s and 1970s before Mike Campbell bought the place).
I used to use these baffles in the studio as little portable goboes. Threw a blanket over them to eliminate harsh frequencies, they actually work quite well! I used to put them in a semicircle around an upright bass, throw a couple blankets over them, they worked amazingly!
