Grey Delisle came over tonight and we recorded two songs in the studio—one song that she and Sally Jo are performing at Hillbillyfest on Sunday as The Juggs. The second is a song that Grey just wrote called “Your Mama Doesn’t Love Me Anymore.” I decided it was as good a time as any to try cutting some music (as opposed to just test tones) on the Scully lathe. Behold! Music created in the studio one minute, played back on a lacquer disc the next. It’s a phonographic miracle!
