I took a brief detour off the freeway today to visit Palomino Records Pressing in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

I spent the evening tonight with Jamie Sweet in southern Ohio. His uncle was Jack Rodgers, who was Merle Travis’s best friend.

I just had a mind-blowing, sensory-overload kind of morning at the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

I’m bringing Link Wray’s 1958 Danelectro Guitarlin “longhorn” guitar to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Monday, and played it last night at the Treelawn Music Hall in Cleveland.

I spent some time before my DJ gig tonight at the house of Josh Curtis, brother of tonight’s club promoter, Cahn Curtis. Josh is like a brother from another mother! But before I start, let me tell all you creeps: none of this stuff is for sale!

I was in Fullerton today and stumbled across this: the original location of Leo Fender’s radio repair shop, where the very first Fender musical instruments were made in the 1940s!

We went to two museums today in Fairbanks, the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum (one of the best I’ve ever been to) and the Fairbanks Ice Museum.

At Montmartre Cemetery I only had time for three “celebrity” graves: Dalida, the famous French singer; the famous Impressionist painter Edgar Degas; and Adolphe Sax, the Belgian who invented the saxophone.

This morning I went to the Phono Museum in the Pigalle district of Paris. Wow, this place is incredible! I highly recommend it if you are going to Paris (check hours first).
